My card features five stamps from one of the upcoming releases, We Connect. This set is filled with extra large words and ampersands aplenty. It's perfect for creating custom sentiments as focal points. I pulled colours from the tiny flowers on the patterned paper for the words. Then I used a marker to faux stitch around the ampersand and die cut some photo corners to frame the sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Remember to check back here on Saturday to see if you are the lucky winner of We Connect!

{Paper Smooches} Regifted

Kim is sharing this card on the Paper Smooches Blog today. It features a fun sentiment and awesome wagon from Knick Knacks along with the baby, teddy bear and milk bottle from Pip Squeaks. The speech bubble is from He Said, She Said. I masked both the teddy bear and milk bottle into the wagon and stamped the sentiment in multiple colours. I just love how perfectly the wagon handle fits into the baby's hand! Heehee.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you are all having a wonderful week so far! :)

{Avocado Arts} Very Merry

Today, the Avocado Arts Pit Crew is sharing projects using the November release, Very Merry Season. I started making this card by trimming the mat layers from patterned paper and stamping first and second generation sentiments across the bottom of the red mat. Then I stitched the two mats together and adhered them to the card base.

I stamped the present on several papers and trimmed them out by hand. I used the Cameo to cut out the base of the tree (or fireplace logs). To create the tree shape, I stacked the presents from the bottom up in different directions to make it interesting. They are adhered with foam tape for dimension and I topped the tree with a wood veneer star.

If you'd like to purchase Very Merry Season, just click on the graphics above. Avocado Arts would love to see you using their stamps! Remember, there's a publication incentive, too. ;) Don't forget to check out the following posts for more inspiration:

{Paper Smooches} A Good Match

Kim is sharing this card on the Paper Smooches Blog today. I used lots of stamps Cyber Cafe with macaroons from Hot Concoctions. Eeek, how delicious would it be to gobble up that pretty stack of macaroons with a nice hot cup of coffee! It would surely help me escape my crazy days of late. LOL

The plus sign was created by using the vertical line from the power button and stamping it twice. I thought this card would be a fun one to send to a friend as an invitation for coffee. It also occurred to me that it looks like a match-making advertisement. Coffee and sweets, anyone? ;)
