My card features the Tick Tock stamp set. This set is so much fun and covers the gamut from friendship and thank you to love and parties!! Yup, it does all that. Plus, the images are perfect for colouring, either with solid stamp images like I did here, or with your choice of colouring medium! The frame for the sentiment was made with the centre of the Duo Die 1 and Ovals 1 dies.

When I saw this wristwatch, I knew I had to create some Swatches. Growing up, I had several of these. They were just so cool. ;) For those who love to colour, you could do it the traditional way and if you don't, well, the great news is that you don't have to! I used Memento Luxe inks to fill in the bands. Check it out here:

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Remember to check the Paper Smooches Blog on Monday to see if you are one of the lucky winners!

{Mama Elephant} Designer Series: Origami & Sketchy Letters + Video!

This is my second post of the day.
If you're looking for my {Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge} Anything Goes with Pearls post, please scroll down or click HERE.

On the Mama Elephant Blog, I am. LOL! I'm a big Star Wars fan but I love the the original trilogy much more than the prequels. With the announcement that J.J. Abrams is going to direct the sequels, I imagine they're going to be incredible. I have high hopes! I use some kind of notebook every year and this Moleskine Planner, as well as The Origami Yoda Files children's series inspired this card.

One day, I was looking at the Origami stamp set, trying to think of something unique to make and then I suddenly saw Yoda's face in the bulldog/bear. I decided I would try to fold a real Origami Yoda but about two-thirds of the way through, I gave up. If I were a more patient person, or had more time, I probably could've done it. ;)

Have I mentioned how much I love the Sketchy Letters stamp set? The size is perfect for big sentiments, yet not so big that it overwhelms the card and the letters are very easy to line up. Well, it would take me forever to explain in writing how Yoda came together so how 'bout a video instead?

Thanks so much for stopping by!
