{Ellen Hutson} October Pin-Sights Challenge

When I saw the gorgeous inspiration photo for Ellen Hutson's October Pin-Sights Challenge, one particular idea popped into my head and I'm glad I found some time this weekend to put my card together! I adore the latest Essentials by Ellen Holiday Release and I wanted to stretch those stamps and use them for a Halloween card. And, yes, I was giggling the whole time I was making it! :D

I used the adorable kids from Light Parade for the necks and the bodies.  It was important that I used the necks and coloured them with a flesh colour so it was obvious that the animal masks from Tree Farm looked like they were masks. I coloured the raccoon's stripes slightly darker than the bunny's stripes. I positioned them so that the bunny would be looking at the raccoon and I tilted the raccoon's head slightly because tilted heads equal cuteness. LOL!

Then I used masking paper, three orange distress inks and two grey/black distress inks to sponge in a glowing sunset and sidewalk. To finish, I stamped a sentiment from Got Candy? and adhered the panel to a black notecard.

If you have some time to play along today or tomorrow, I'd love to see what you make! You can link up your Essentials by Ellen creations HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by!
